Pizza Dough

Ingredients

1 sachet active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2.5 cups all-purpose or whole wheat flour

Method

Dissolve the yeast in the warm water.

Stir in the remaining ingredients; beat vigorously for 30 seconds or so.

Let the dough rest for about 5 minutes.

Divide the dough into halves and pat each half out into an 11-inch circle on lightly greased tray with floured fingers.

Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the circles evenly.

Then add the toppings of your choice.

Cook in a 425 degree oven until the cheeses or other toppings are a light brown, usually 20 to 25 minutes.
