Ingredients
1 cup flour
˝ tsp baking powder
˝ tsp baking soda
Ľ cup shortening
Ľ cup butter
˝ cup granulated sugar
˝ cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbs milk
˝ tsp vanilla
1 cup oatmeal
Method
Cream together butter and sugars, add vanilla, milk and egg, mix thoroughly.
Add dry ingredients, stir well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes
