Ingredients
5oz Butter or Marg
5oz Sugar
1 tablespoon Milk
1 teaspoon Bicarb of Soda
2 teaspoon Golden Syrup
5oz Self-Raising Flour
Method
1. Cream butter and sugar
2. Mix in milk, soda and syrup
3. Stir in flour and oats and mix well
4. Roll into small balls and put on greased baking tray
5. Cook for 25 mins on 150°C/300°F/gas 2 till golden
6. Cool on wire rack
