Chive Blossom Vinaigrette
This is fantastic with salads. If you wish you can add some dandelion petals. It needs to be used the same day due to the egg yolk.
3 chive flower heads
1 egg yolk
1/3 cup red wine vinegar, or cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar, or to taste
2 cloves garlic
salt and pepper, to taste
Put everything except the flowers into the food processor or blender and process until smooth and well-mixed.
Tear the chive flowers off the heads and stir them into the dressing mixture.
