A fills-you-up pudding, very simple to make, tastes great, and thorouhly warming if you're out on a cold December evening.
Ingredients
2 oz. of Rolled oats
1 large tblspn of sugar
1/2 pint of milk
1 oz of butter
1 pint of custard
Method
Boil the milk with the oats, butter and sugar, cook gently for 15 minutes, then pour into a pie-dish and add to the mixture 1 pint of custard made according to the packets instructions.
Stir carefully and bake for 1.5 or 2 hours; let it cool
